Last day

Our final day at Gartmore House. Lots of sunshine then very heavy showers. I decided to chance it and got out for a quick wee walk. I love the light of the old tree trunk and the very dark sky. Luckily I didn’t get very wet.

A relaxed morning looking at the possibilities of what we could do with our eco printed fabrics and papers. After lunch we said our farewells and started our journeys home. Jo gave me a lift to Edinburgh which meant I didn’t have to battle trains and cases. It was a gorgeous drive, taking in the Kelpies, Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monument and the 3 bridges across the Forth. In Edinburgh I sat in a cafe and waited for my train.
