Henry MacMouse

Henry was begging me to make him a wee kilt for our trip to Scotland so I finally gave in.  I pleated the kilt, added the sporran, a bit of lace at the collar and made my interpretation of a bunnet and hackle but I absolutely drew the line at making him a set of bag pipes!  He is proudly modeling his outfit in front of my Scotland magazine showing the Ring of Brodgar in Orkney which we will be visiting.  Now, heaven help me, he is reciting a bit of Burns famous poem, "To a Mouse" which he is convinced was written for him..."But little Mouse, you are not alone, In proving foresight may be vain: The best laid schemes of mice and men Go often awry..."  There will be no living with him now.
