Der Suppenmeister/The Soup Maker

It was a day that cried out for soup.  The sky has been crying all day - which is good because we need the rain.  But it's been a day to look out the window and think "I want a big bowl of soup".  Which is where I come in.

Soak 2 sorts of lentils, chop onions, grate carrots, peel and dice potatoes add the lot to some veggie stock and we'll see later if it needs chick-peas or butter beans.

I would take it as a personal favour if no-one called me over the weekend, I'm heartily sick of talking.
