Greylag

I know Spring has arrived at Wigan Flashes Nature Reserve when the Greylag geese arrive, and begin honking very loudly as they pair off on the water!
This friendly chap came ashore to seek sanctuary with us as he was being chased by another male who wanted him away from the female he was 'guarding'!!
