Quackers

Despite son Thomas and daughter in law Mary telling me they started to pick up after two days I am still suffering. By far the worse symptom is the extremely sore throat. So sore and swollen only soft foods and liquid can go down. Lots of naps as fatigue takes over. It is by far the worse virus I have had and that despite the vaccinations. Richard is still negative and I am grateful he had his fourth booster before the wedding. Just hoping he does not succumb.

I managed a very short isolated walk to get some fresh air. Fortunately living where we do it is easy to find quiet walk. Enjoyed seeing Mrs Duck and her brood. Felt better for a walk but then fell asleep on the sofa. Definitely something I rarely do.
