Our Eldest

Celebrated arriving back on our Land with G&T's, made by Deb.

It's actually the first time they're staying here, as we've not had enough room before.  The kids are running round, getting filthy, playing with the cats, picking oranges to eat, it's great.

Bit of a downer is that Sam and Allegra have both felt a bit off, so decided to test, and the dreaded line has appeared; will have to decide what we do now...

Lent verses were John 10v31-42, the Jews to Jesus:
We're not stoning you for anything good you did, but for calling yourself God.
Still the same today - no-one minds Jesus being good, but being God is another matter altogether...

Gratefuls:
- getting here safely, I never take that for granted
- Deb and her family making it at long last
- great lunch at the "best steak I ever had" place, Novo Coimbra
and, of course, seeing Aduro running around, couldn't quite believe it till I saw her myself
