Japanese Gardens

Our trip to Rutland reached an end today with a visit to Barnsdale Gardens. These 38 individual sample gardens were created by Geoff Hamilton for BBC Gardeners' World.  It is Britain's largest collection of individually designed gardens and although it is a rather in between seasons time we enjoyed being able to see the structure of the gardens.  I imagine that in a few weeks time it will be magnificent.  This is a shot of part of the Japanese Garden.

We have had a pleasant few days although the weather has been unpredictable.  Home now to catch up on all those little jobs...
