Views from the Steampunk Bar

We drove to the Gold Coast to visit our daughter and to have dinner with her. She choose a cool bar ("Steampunk", Surfers Paradise) and the Extra shot is her "steamy" pink drink. I played it safe with a nice red wine. The main photo is the view from the bar which shows a giant illuminated slingshot that projects a lit-up "carriage" with two people strapped inside (just seen between the two lit blue columns) at great velocity into the sky, attached by giant, "rubber bands". It's like a reverse, Bungy Jump. The Gold Coast is really quite "different" to the Sunshine Coast.
