Meeting the Gallo Nero

It’s been a sunny day in Tuscany and we headed into Siena to explore the town. It’s a lovely medieval town with a spectacular Cathedral and main square, where a big and famous horse race takes place twice a year. We headed back to the fattoria for a wine tasting of our host’s chianti classico. I learnt some things, including that every bottle of chianti classico has a black rooster on it - the gallo nero.
