Holmwood House

Today we went to visit Holmwood House as the national Trust had a free day.
The house is the finest and most elaborate residential villa designed by the Scottish architect Alexander 'Greek' Thomson.  It is also rare in retaining much of the original interior decor. Construction started in 1857 and opened in 1858 .
Magnus was very well behaved during the tour.
We then went to Queens park to find a playpark for Magnus then we went for lunch in Shawlands. A great day out. Sunny but a cold wind.
I have added a few extras.
