Ash keys play a serious note

I was reading in the Welsh Wildlife magazine how although there are only 15 sightings of Ash Die-back in Wales so far, the number will rise in the summer months. There are 15,000 ha of ash woodland in Wales, and it's one of the most common hedgerow trees, so there could be a devastating impact on the countryside.

So I thought I'd blip a bunch of last year's keys on one of the ashes in the Linda Vista Gardens while I can.

Ash Die-back, if you don't know about it, is a fungus that rapidly kills young trees, though older trees can resist it if they are otherwise healthy.
