A group of us met early to process to the Abbey singing and waving our palm crosses to mark Palm Sunday. As I was walking across the park to the meet, an elderly gentleman stopped me to ask what was going on. Trying to explain Palm Sunday to someone who didn’t have much grasp of the Easter story in general and Holy Week in particular was … interesting!
