Hickling Stubb Drainage Windmill

in an area of outstanding natural beauty with numerous interconnected inland stretches of water. The area is a favourite for boating holidays.

This was a windmill, built between 1795 and 1825, initially sail-driven to move water into drainage channels. A smaller powered pump house situated alongside now does the work.
