Do you like butter?

Do you remember doing that as a kid? Holding a buttercup under your friend's chin to see if they liked butter? They always did. And the sunnier the day, the more they seemed to like it. Simpler times.

I noticed buttercups for the first time this year on my way to the shops so that's what I embroidered. The book in the background is The Concise British Flora in Colour by W. Keble Martin. A classic. I've loved and perused this book since I was a child. It's currently a long-term loan from my mum :-)
