Putting in a late appearance!

Not having seen Robbie or Roberta since last weekend (hope they’re off nesting somewhere), had prepared a different pic and blurb for today. But then, this evening, looking out of the kitchen window, who should I see putting in a late appearance and having a quick bath but Robbie! He must’ve realised it was Robin Sunday! (Photo taken through the window on full zoom and in the gloom so not the sharpest of pics.)

Another frosty start to the day but the sunshine warmed up the morning enough to sit outside and watch the birds (10 species), bees and butterflies in the garden. Judging by all the little white feathers I found this afternoon, we must’ve had a visit from the Sparrowhawk.
