Welcome Home

It's always a delight to see puffins - and there is particular delight in seeing them return from the long winter at sea to their nesting sites.

Puffins have been visible (just) on the water around Sumburgh Head for the last few days but this evening (when the wind dropped and the temperatures climbed a wee bit) they finally made it ashore.
