Trip to Corfe

We very nearly canceled a short break away to Corfe when the weather forecast promised rain.

Luckily we didn't. A tad cold yes but rain no.

I've taken a similar shot before with my iPhone but wanted to give it another try with my "proper" camera.  My first attempt met failure when the actual locomotive was pushing rather than pulling.

Today was a success.

The blip is a composite of a pano, composed using my long lens to compress the scene, and a single frame containing the locomotive.

I'm happy with the result.

Also added another sunset that was captured after I had blipped my little Robin.
