Clematis

Today we have spent some time in the garden sowing the (last?) seeds this  spring, and catching up on pruning. Our Clematis  montana,  which climbs over the bannister of the steps to our front door is  beginning to flower. I like it because it is especially strongly scented.
We visited our local wildlife area to water the tree we planted recently. We were pleased to discover the first slow worm of the year warming  up under a piece of roofing felt we have  placed on the grass for reptiles to use.
