Focus Is In The Eye Of Something

The usual awful Sunday night, followed by the usual torrent of "What does this mean?" mails and phone calls.

In one case I expect a program to send me a number corresponding to a number of lines in a file.  I use this number to read that number of lines.  Quite simple - send me a number and I'll deal with it.  However send me a message that says "Looks like a dumb terminal - nothing to do", then I haven't got a chance.

Naturally this message appears because I've changed something (I haven't).  And again my voice is lost to everyone.

Disheartened and really, really tired.  Thanks Monday - you needn't have bothered.
