This is Old Norwegian Short Tail Landrace  that is getting more and more popular in Norway. Original a domestic animal from the Iron Age  and it was in danger of extinction. 

Most sheep in Norway roam free all summer without herding, fencing and with little supervision.  Wolves, bears, lynx, wolverines and golden eagles are predators, but since the Old Norwegian Short Tail Landrace  has a very strong flock instinct they are able to protect themselves better than other sheep. 

Another advantage is that the meat has little fat. Healthy life, healthy meat.
