Lucky

Today I walked to the local  post office and was "ambushed" both on my way there and my way back, by Lucky. You  may have seen her on blip before; she is missing her left hind leg after an accident, but that doesn't hold her back.Today, I watched her see off a dog being walked!   She now has devoted humans caring for her, who  decided to call her Lucky. However, they must have been out to day for she sought lots of attention from me. 
I have  spent much of  the day preparing for our Easter visitors; my Mum and her sister, including baking a simnel cake. However, I still need to sort out the spare bedroom, currently filled with my computer desk, a bed covered in paperwork, ukuleles, and a window ledge full of trays of seedlings.
