Tree Peony

The first bloom of the year!  This tree peony always does really well and has got quite a lot of buds on it this year... that means that the wind and rain is probably on the way to ruin them all!

another noisy day in the house with the bathroom work being done but they're cracking on well with the tiling! We escaped for another couple of hours this morning to head to Southend as Dad needed to use the bank and I got a picture frame in HMV for an album cover I want to frame!

And this afternoon i've been at a neighbours' house for her birthday so it was nice to have a catch up natter in the garden over a cuppa.  Now to enjoy the peace and quiet...
