St. Margaret's Church

It was perfect walking weather today when B & I walked the circular route from Glandford, around the Bayfield Estate.  This is the medieval church of Saint Margaret which was the parish church for the lost settlement of the village of Bayfield which once stood around the ruined church. The village was listed in the Doomsday Book and at the time the settlement also included a mill.
I've blipped this photo before, it's a favourite of mine as I enjoy the picturesque setting and the textures of the trees surrounding it, especially before they are in full leaf.
I was surprised to see bluebells coming into flower already and I have added a photo of one as an extra.
