triple expansion

Today we travelled West to Coatbridge to visit the Summerlee Industrial Museum and catch up with Rowan's parents. It's on the site of iron works. Unfortunately, not much of that is left now. The exhibition is excellent. I particularly like the huge machines. The museum also hosts the massive South African Railways steam loco 'springbok' (see extra). It is slowly rusting away sitting outside. There was a plan to restore it at St Rollox locomotive works. Although it looks like that fell through. The sweetie shop was visited and the terraces from the 60ies and 80ies were admired.
