North to the Columbia

We drove to Wasco, Oregon, for an aunt's graveside service (my Uncle Peter's widow, 89). The weather report's were iffy as there was a lot of snow everywhere in the State on Monday, but the drive was safe, and very beautiful. I think it's always beautiful up along the Columbia River. Lots of family stories, if not a lot of actual family in attendance. It's the first time I've wanted a small travel trailer. I'd drive it up there and park at the edge of some cousin's field to sit looking at the hills, at the birds, and just to poke around. How am I ever going to pull that one off! The Extra is the grave at the top of the old cemetery.
