No real rainbow today!

This is the first stop of an Easter Egg trail at Claremont Gardens where we took he grandchildren this morning when it opened. As we know the place well we actually went to the playground first and then did the trail starting from no10 and working back to this No1 as most of the visitors were doing it from 1-10!  The busiest I have ever seen it but we got there just after 10 so no problem with parking spaces then.

The cafe was extremely busy..good for NT profits. I liked the quote written on the blackboard there….
“We all need places to sit in, places to play in, places to stroll in and places to spend a day in” Octavia Hill 1833.  She was one of the original founders of the National Trust.
This is still as true today as it was then and we did all of those things….sit, play…the children running plus hide and seek, strolled around and spent quite a while there.

Such a warm day. Nice to get home and spend time in the garden. My tadpoles are still surviving so I decided I had better give them some fresh water!
