Palace of Holyroodhouse - half mast flag

Rather remiss, but I'm back-blipping. Family stuff going on. This seems so much like last week's news as I type.

For the sake of my memory, this is the flag flying at half-mast at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Queen's official residence in Scotland. It's a mark of respect due to the death of former Prime Minister, Baroness Thatcher, who died on 8 April 2013. She was Prime Minister from 1979 to 1990.

I lived through the 80s. Anything I have to say now would be shallow.
