Beating pulse of the neighbourhood

New electric charging points are being installed on the streets nearby. There has been a gang of men and machines digging and putting in plastic tubing for a few weeks, but this morning a solitary man with a van was taking these black monoliths out of cardboard boxes and preparing them for use. We’ll see if that increases the presence of electric vehicles in the vicinity.

For something prettier to look at, I’ve added an extra of some of the blooms we saw at the Botanics this afternoon. The rhodies and daffs were all looking rather splendid.
