Another Roadside Attraction (#1)

Back in the early '70s, I read a book by Tom Robbins called Another Roadside Attraction. I'm reminded of that title often because there are many roadside attractions here on the island. I'll be taking blips as they proliferate during the spring and summer. Here's #1 - look what you can buy on Salt Spring:
- daffodils, $2.50 a dozen
- rabbit garden ornament (choice of colour), $30 each (looks like $50, but that's just a crinkle in the tape)
- hen garden ornament, $25
Leave your money in the tobacco can.
These are by the side of the road just down from where my buddy Leo lives. Leo comes charging out of the driveway like he's going to eat you alive, barking ferociously, but he's just putting on an act.
