Green Woodpecker

I often hear the raucous laugh of the Green Woodpeckers in the woods and occasionally see them on the grass in the distance. When I looked out this morning, this female was only about 4m away and too busy eating ants at the base of the tree to notice me poke my camera lens through the curtains :-)
