Cherry blossom

On our neighbour's tree but it also overhangs our garden. It's such a shame that before you know it the blossom will have disappeared again for another year. She doesn't bother with the fruit when it comes  so is more than happy for us to collect it.

However! A big problem is that our local bird population are also partial to the cherries and try as we might we usually lose out on a lot of the fruit as the pigeons, collared doves, jackdaws, blackbirds, to name but a few, help themselves.

Another gorgeous day here with wall to wall sunshine and a temperature of around 21 degrees or above, how wonderful.

Jayne's at work again so is missing out on it a little but perhaps we'll be able to sit out again when she gets home.
