At Nueremberg train station & Ukrainian refugees

Some more refugees resting by various benches and walls. I went over to a young girl with her yorkie to check if she was ok, or she wanted someone to wait with her until her guardian came back. 

A Ukrainian refugee can get a free German Rail ticket pass provided they arrive in either Berlin, Dresden, Munich and Nueremberg train stations. 

It has been quite the eye-opener to see people literally fleeing from war while I'm passing through the same station to stay at a nice Old Town hotel.
