River

We cycled to Stratford to collect glasses for LooseCanon  which weren’t ready,  for various reasons. Had coffee at the Theatre outside cafe where we watched the boats going up and down the river Avon, being propelled with varying degrees of expertise. These young women looked as though they knew what they were doing unlike some of the tourists!
It was really busy in town today and it was lovely to see the tourists returning. But the roads were quiet and lots of people appeared to have come by train, which is good.
This evening we went back to go to the cinema to see Operation Mincemeat which  was thoroughly enjoyable. After that we went for a curry. It’s been a lovely spring day.
Arthur is coming again tomorrow. I have stocked up on bananas and hot cross buns in anticipation.
