Back yard at the Alex

Today we walked a kilometre or two to the Alexandria Hotel for the one (not kidding). It was saved from the wrecking ball a small number of years ago by a visionary developer who bought it sight unseen and has had similar triumphs around the town.

Taking inspiration from a classic family yard, Backyard at the Alex is an outdoor hang-out spot serving food, drinks and sporting facilities for the kids as the parents enjoy some recreation.
