First bike ride of the year

The weather was chillier than yesterday, but it was still nice enough to get on my bike. It felt great. I only rode about 3.5 miles (5.6 km), but it was good enough. I rode down the C&O Canal Towpath until I reached the bridge over the Potomac River. The tunnel to West Virginia behind the bike was closed, I suspect for winter, so I stopped here for a photo.

Tomorrow we're going to Hersheypark for Jill's 41st birthday.
