Dunes

An early start for a lovely couple of hours walking. Along the beach one way, then the coastal path & dunes back. It’s safe to say the dunes have moved somewhat over the years & blurred the lines a bit.
We always check tide times before we head out, & know the area well enough to check the high tide height, to know what time the beach will be covered. It can be anywhere between 1 to 2 hours before high tide.
Today was 9.5m so the beach was covered 2 hours before high tide.
Always amazes me the people who turn up with kids & buckets & spades, then look surprised that there’s no sand.
