Doer Upper!

Another chilly day…whilst some of you have been basking in warm weather this weekend we’ve had a fairly chilly one! A cold  wind and varying amounts of sea fret have wended their way on shore with the high tide, so we’ve had to wait for the tide to turn to enjoy the sunshine…which hasn’t happened until late afternoon each day! At least it’s been dry and bright.

Another lazy day too, it was late afternoon again before we set off for a walk. After reaching the end of the prom we headed up onto the cliff path for a little way before heading through a tunnel to the other side of the railway and completely circling the old part of the village. There are lots of old buildings many associated with the various industries which once existed…this one looks though it’s being done up at the moment but it obviously has a little way to go still.

Thanks to Marlieske for hosting Derelict Sunday.
