The garden's shaping up

Found a couple of hours to work on the garden...in sunshine! Finished building the arbour and made a lot of progress with the raised pond (designed this way to reduce the amount of soil and rubble to be dug out!). Every corner of the garden has to be multi-purpose as it is so small (this shot shows about a quarter of the whole garden!). Even here wildlife will mix with people, relaxation and plant architecture. There are already Dunnocks nesting in a box behind the arbour. The thing hanging from the fence to the right is a receptical of nesting materials - sheep fleece, shredded paper, string, cotton, wool, cat hair - provided free for any interested birds. I can't wait to get the pond filled.
