Typically, the weather was finally lovely on the day I was back at work at the kitchen desk, ploughing through papers to read for a big meeting later this week, plus a few catch up meetings with various people.
A&N had gone to visit P at the end of their weekend away down south and it was good for him to see them after several months away, A made him lunch whilst N mowed the lawn and they had a nice long chat.
I collected Paisley from the kennels at the end of the day and she seemed pleased to be back home…after supper she pretty much collapsed for a sleep. Think she’s had a lot of walks and used up nervous energy being around other dogs, so no wonder she’s tired out!
Made some amaretti biscuits with the leftover egg whites having made hollandaise sauce for the salmon and new potato supper I made for A&N getting home and we watched a couple of home improvement shows as they contemplate going on some more viewings tomorrow. Somewhere will turn up soon!
