Dust Storms

Unless we have significant rain over the next month then we will be plagued with dust storms, it gets in everywhere including all the wee air vents around the house and all the cars and gardens look grey. Some years we have had the council help to dig out the roads from the sand dunes that grow overnight.

Funny thing happened to me - I went to the jewellers to get my gold chain necklace fixed, he tutted and said this will be expensive if I want it fixed with gold, he then said he would check the price for me before he did any work.

He came back and said £5. Ha ha he must have a different idea of what expensive means. I then asked how much to fit it and he said oh that's in the £5 price.
