Water, water...

Yesterday started off beautifully although we knew from the forecast that things would get 'difficult'. We spent a lovely morning on the west coast at the islands premier beach, Luskintyre, - miles of white sand and green sea but were eventually blown off the beach as the predicted 45mph winds arrived followed by rain.
We waited for the rain to abate before tootling off back over a very narrow road (most of the roads are single lanes with passing places) with an anxious elderly couple following us over the hills.
The main photo was taken in a moment of respite looking down on one of the sea lochs.
