Cherry blossom

Now I am sure that Spring is here.
The village has several very large Flowering Cherry trees. ( Prunus). Originally from Japan of course. It has been widely developed across the Northern Hemisphere and there are now several hundred species.
There will be no cherries to eat unfortunately. The fruit are small and hard.
But at this time of year who needs to go to Japan. A walk from home is enough to see the wonderful displays.
