Slack Bottom!

Yorkshire has some classic road and place names, and Slack Bottom,  high above Hebden Bridge, has got to be up there with them. It goes hand in hand with Slack Top... no prizes for guessing where that is in relation to Slack Bottom! :-P

After staying in Burnley overnight, Mum and I made our way back home over the tops. The climbing on the route allowed for absolutely amazing views from The Long Causeway; an incredible road which eventually winds it's way to Blackshaw Head and Colden. Simply glorious!
