Tufted Duck

Rouken Glen pond is home to a number of water birds. THe female swan and Canada Goose are both on their nests, Coots and Moorhens spend most of their time speeding across the water, the Mallards and Tufted Ducks were paddling about in the sunshine while the Black-Headed Gulls were making the most awful racket.

As if we didn't get enough exercise playing badminton this morning L and I headed to Rouken Glen for an al fresco spot of lunch and a walk up at the pond end of the park.
