Penmon & Puffin Island

Gales blowing again today but with it the weather was warmer and we have had blue sky and sunshine all day.

This morning was spent trying to get rid of some of my old toys that are still at mum and dads. It resulted in the grand sum of zero being given away......I'm too soft.....oh well :-) We also went through two of mum's many storage trunks of material. She has all sorts of wonderful fabrics and clothes that she made herself in the 60's and 70's.......I have acquired a dress and a tunic :-))

Dad finished work at lunchtime and as it was such a nice day he took us out for a walk. We went to Penmon where this picture was taken, looking over to Puffin Island. We also had a walk around Penmon Priory and a look at the amazing dovecote which dates from about the 1600's. It housed over 1,000 nesting boxes and can be seen to the right of this picture.
