Dog park

The joiner was due today to finish off the skirting boards and plinths in the kitchen and he arrived promptly at 9.30.

Phin and I headed to Kirkliston to an enclosed dog park to meet Susan and Scoobie. It was a fabulous space for the dogs who had a great time chasing the balls we had taken with us and jumping over the agility equipment. The hour passed very quickly and we got in 5000+steps walking round the park in the sunshine.

Home in time for lunch and an update from Miss PHL. She rang first thing to say she was having issues with her waterworks - none since 7.30 the previous evening. She called NHS24 who advised her to go to A&E and she’d headed there whilst I took Phin out. The tested her urine and took bloods and as she was able to finally go to the toilet and her scan showed her bladder wasn’t too full, they sent her away with instructions to call her GP if she was no better in the morning.

I picked her up from the hospital and brought her home for some food. She fell asleep on the sofa which did her good.

The good news is that the joiner has finished all the work in the kitchen but is coming back tomorrow to build a hutch for Phin.

We went out for dinner to our local cheap and cheerful pub and I then walked Phin home whilst Mr PHL drove K home.
My poor wee girl, she’s having a rough time of it.

Spotted these wild garlic flowers on the evening dog walk, hope they fit the bill for TinyTuesday. Thanks to Sheol for hosting.

The extra is of a cheeky squirrel raiding the bird seed.

Backblipped Wednesday 20th.
