Fooling around

After dinner, the sun was still out and Abbie and I had a walk around town. A lot of the city center has been closed off. We have now found out why. Tomorrow the Roosevelt four freedoms awards are being awarded. I didn’t realise how big the event was… Previous laureates include Harry S. Truman, John F. Kennedy, Nelson Mandela, Dalai Lama, Kofi Annan, J. William Fulbright, Desmond Tutu, Jimmy Carter, Malala Yousafzai and Angela Merkel.
