A day in the life

I had an sms from Marianne, a friend who I help making posters for her musical venues at her home. She's arranging a concert on Sunday and has only sold two tickets this far. Some weeks ago, a reporter at the local newspaper wrote an article about the enormous amount of cultural events building up in this area, the summer is already filled with events. In the article she asked; Who is going to be the audience visiting  all these concert, exhibitions, fleamarkets, new restaurants, etc.? The answer is yet to see but my friend might already have been affected by the enormous offering. This is the local billboard at the supermarket, it usually doesn't look like this. The miniature shows her poster at the bottom left and you find her summer program top right, next to "The Chargers". Not easy to break through the "noise", is it?

Another sunny day here but a rather strong northern wind made it unpleasant to be outside for a coffee. I did the washing though, and hung it to dry outside for the first time here. Despite the sun, it took a long time for it to dry because it was really a bit too cold in the wind.
I've been putting som of my art on the walls and some more curtains where they're needed. Even if it's cold outside, the sun warms the inside of the house through the windows, thus making it necessary to block the sun a little.
