Cliffs and sea

Its been another beautiful day slightly warmer than yesterday and with more sun.  We all headed off to Sidmouth arriving while the sea was only just going out.  We had a wander around Connaught Gardens and then walked down to the sea.  As there was no areas of sand exposed yet we couldn't stayfor sand play so we stood and watched the sea gently falling on the pebbles with that delightful noise of the pebbles moving when there is a sightly higher wave.  We then headed towards the far end of the beach where this shot was taken and had lunch in the nearby park.  Our grandson enjoyed playing in the playground and meeting several other similar sized children.  After all of this the tide had gone out and the sandy parts of the beach were exposed so we then spent some time making sand castles and other sand activities.  In extra is a shot of Lucas looking up to spot an aeroplane in the sky.

Later in the evening I managed to get to a Zumba class at the gym, always such fun and then caught up with some of the camera club zoom meeting.
