Rock stacks

I caught the bus into Sidmouth this afternoon to pick up something that I had put by, a small rucksack identical to mine for my husband so we will have his and hers. It was very busy along the sea front and on the beach.
I walked the coastal path home and stopped on the beach at Ladram on the way through. It was busy as the photo shows. In the background are the Ladram rock stacks which the gulls use for nesting. The extra shows a Dartford warbler I saw on my walk. I also saw and heard lots of skylarks but they are a bit quick. Lots of butterflies were around.
